Taylor Swift Forced To Cancel Concerts After Suspects Arrested Over ‘terror Attack Plot’

Austrian police have arrested two suspected extremists alleged to have been planning an attack on an arena set to host Taylor Swift

21:25, 7 Aug 2024Updated21:29, 7 Aug 2024 Taylor Swift has been forced to cancel some of her Eras Tour concerts due to a terror threat.

Austrian ticketing service Barracuda Music announced the news on Instagram. The statement read: “Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour Vienna Shows Cancelled Due to Government Officials Confirmation of Planned Terrorist Attack. With confirmation from government officials of a planned terrorist attack at Ernst Happel Stadium, we have no choice but to cancel the three scheduled shows for everyone’s safety.”

The statement added that those who had purchased tickets for the show would receive an automatic refund within the next 10 business days.
